Bio:
Nathan serves as an adjunct instructor at WSU, coaches high school cross country, and is a lifelong student currently pursuing his PhD in education - character development and sports ethics at the University of Idaho. Nathan was surrounded by people who fostered his love for play at a young age. From baseball swim team in the Summer and Fall, to hooping through the Winter and running in the Spring, Nathan was a year round competitor. Originally a jumper, Nathan found his love for track and field in high school, before finding his strength in the longer distances in college (though it’s worth noting he can still dunk a basketball).
Along with running, Nathan finds meaning and satisfaction in teaching, coaching, reading great books, and cooking/eating good food. Lately, he has been dabbling in photography and storytelling.
