The mission of Cascadia Elite is to create a community of elite-level runners who support and empower each other while pursuing their post-collegiate running and racing goals.
The facts:
We believe in one another and work to create connection and shared knowledge within our team.
We are here to compete on a national and international level.
Our team consists of high level athletes that are developing long term running goals. Some are at their peak of training, while others may be taking time to regain strength for their future.
We are active and proud members of the larger running community, which values inclusivity, exploration, and connection.
Cascadia Elite is a collective of humans that share a desire to run and race at their highest potential. We are a dynamic group of athletes covering a variety of terrains and distances. We are nurses, teachers, counselors, scientists—and many more amazing things—in addition to being elite level athletes.
Our team includes trail climbers, track flyers, cross country chargers, road racers, and even some members who fall into all of these categories. We are runners, but we are also dynamic personalities with diverse stories and strengths. Our team brings a lot of knowledge through our professional careers as well as our years of experience within the running world.
We have many goals, and we celebrate the journey together, but also hope to give back to our running community through positive connections and the sharing of knowledge and joy. Please reach out if you ever have any questions!
The team formed organically during the 2021 season when the global pandemic caused time, space, and the rules of engagement to collapse. We now find ourselves working, relating, and racing in different ways. Limitations around time — such as commuting, class schedules, and traditional business hours — became more pliable and resources were no longer locked to your physical location. While many of our athletes are based in or are from the Pacific Northwest, we also use online platforms to stay connected from afar and align our race schedules to compete and cheer together as a team. Our USATF membership affiliation is currently based in Oregon, but we welcome high performing athletes who share are goals and are seeking ways to grow or stay connected as elite athletes.

How can we support you?
We are always looking for opportunities to support our athletes and collaborate with the larger running community. If you have any questions or if there is anything that we might do to help you in your goals and pursuits, please reach out. We are eager to hear from you.
