Bio:
Growing up in a running family, it was a natural progression for me to pursue the sport. I transitioned from running with my brothers and mom, to competing with friends at Summit High School. Finding success as a 2x state champion and creating lifelong connections with teammates gave me the opportunity to continue my career at the University of Oregon. There, I was able to set PR's in the 800 and 1500, as well as be a part of multiple NCAA titles. My proudest one being the 2016 NCAA XC championships.
Post collegiately, I still felt that I had more goals to pursue. While teaching second grade, I continued to train and seek out community in the sport. I was lucky to find that sense of community and friendship in Boulder, CO where I set a PR in the 5k and qualified for 2 US outdoor championships.
I am currently teaching Kindergarten and coaching HS XC in Issaquah, WA. I am excited to keep pushing my boundaries in this sport with the support of Cascadia Elite!
